Provider and scope
Hourly is provided by BetMetrics OÜ, Estonia. Contact us at contact@gethourly.app. See BetMetrics OÜ company information for the official company particulars maintained by the provider, and our Company & legal information page for contact information.
These terms cover the Hourly service and website. Apple’s applicable terms govern App Store distribution and purchases. App licensing is governed by Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement unless a custom EULA is provided with your App Store download. These website terms do not replace that licence.
Nothing in these terms removes mandatory rights you have under applicable consumer law.
Using Hourly
Hourly is a personal work-time recording tool. You can record and review working time, organise entries and job sites, and export or restore records. It is not an employer-approved attendance system unless separately agreed with your employer. Summaries and estimates are not payroll, accounting, tax or legal advice.
Review and correct entries before relying on them for invoices, pay, tax or employment records. That responsibility does not remove our legal obligation to provide a conforming product.
Optional job-site detection depends on device permissions, location availability and iOS background behaviour. Events can be delayed or missing. Arrival automation is separately opt-in. Departure can notify, do nothing, or stop only a timer linked to the same unchanged site for review. Check any resulting session. Manual tracking remains available without location permission.
Records and backups
The current app stores work records locally and does not require a Hourly account. Keep your device secure and maintain a separate backup you can access if the device is lost.
Exports may contain notes, client names and location information. Protect exported files and make sure you are entitled to record or share information about other people. See the Privacy Policy for the distinction between local records, exports and other services.
Losing a device, deleting the app or restoring data can affect your records. Use Save Hours before backing up: active timers and sessions awaiting review are excluded. A v3 backup includes logged entries, presets, clients, saved notes, settings, sites, observations and reminder state. Restore keeps existing records on conflicts, but applies backup settings and replaces saved notes; reminder state is merged. Read the restore preview and any warnings before proceeding. We cannot recover a local database we never received. This does not limit remedies available where loss results from our breach of a legal obligation.
Acceptable use
Use Hourly lawfully. Do not disrupt the website or service, attempt unauthorised access or infringe another person’s rights. These terms do not restrict uses of software that applicable law expressly permits, including non-waivable interoperability rights.
Availability and updates
Hourly is available on the App Store. Check the App Store listing for supported devices and iOS requirements.
Core work records are stored locally. Maps, website access, downloads and purchase verification may require an internet connection.
Updates may fix defects, maintain security or improve the app. We will honour mandatory obligations to supply conformity or security updates. A general change to these terms will not remove paid functionality already owed to you.
Subscriptions and lifetime
Hourly uses native Apple StoreKit 2 for monthly and yearly subscriptions and lifetime access. The offers are €3.99/month, €39.99/year, or €89.99 lifetime, with an eligible 14-day free trial for a subscription, one per subscription group. Apple localizes the actual App Store prices. The download is free. Purchases are made in the app through Apple; this website has no checkout. Lifetime is a separate non-consumable purchase and does not cancel a separate subscription.
Check the actual localized price, billing period and trial eligibility shown by Apple before confirming. Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. An eligible free trial becomes a paid subscription unless cancelled before it ends. Manage or cancel through your Apple Account subscription settings. To avoid renewal, cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends; for a free trial, Apple advises cancelling at least 24 hours before it ends.
Purchase access may restore automatically when Apple verifies your entitlements. Use Restore Purchases if access is missing and confirm you are using the Apple Account that made the purchase. Restoration does not restore your work database. Lifetime is a one-time non-consumable entitlement with no subscription renewal. Buying it does not cancel another subscription; cancel that separately if you no longer want it.
Cancelling renewal, withdrawing from a purchase, and requesting a refund or remedy for a defect are different actions. Request eligible App Store refunds through Apple Report a Problem. Apple determines eligibility under its process and applicable law. Installing or using Hourly does not, through these terms, waive a statutory withdrawal right.
Support and complaints
Email contact@gethourly.app for help or to make a complaint. Include the app and iOS versions, what happened, what you expected and the remedy you are seeking. Redact unrelated personal information. Never send an Apple Account password or payment-card number.
Apple’s purchase-support process handles App Store billing and refund requests. You can also contact us for help. Referring you to Apple does not remove a legal claim you may have against BetMetrics.
Your consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for intentional wrongdoing or other protected claims. Mandatory rights concerning conformity, remedies, refunds and withdrawal remain in force.
Where you use Hourly as a consumer, any choice of Estonian law will not deprive you of mandatory protection under the law of your habitual residence where that protection applies. These terms do not require consumers to bring every claim exclusively in Estonia or waive access to a competent court.
Changes to these terms
Future changes will apply prospectively. Material changes affecting an existing paid service will be communicated as required by law and the applicable purchase terms. An update does not retrospectively waive an existing claim or authorise a new charge.
