How do I log my hours?
Tap one of the preset buttons on the home screen. Each preset logs a pre-configured number of hours instantly. You can also tap the + button to enter a custom duration or start the live timer for open-ended tracking.
Does Hourly sync to the cloud?
No. All your data is stored locally on your iPhone using SwiftData. Nothing is ever sent to a server. Hourly has no account system and requires no internet connection.
How do I export my hours?
Tap the export icon on the home screen toolbar. Choose your date range (current week, current month, or custom), then either copy a formatted text summary to your clipboard or export a full CSV file.
Can I track hours for multiple clients?
Yes. You can assign any log entry to a client and view per-client summaries in the export screen.
How do I back up my data?
Go to Settings → Backup → Export JSON. This saves all your entries, presets, and settings as a JSON file to the iOS Files app. To restore, tap Import JSON and select the file.
